ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Time slots of 10 minutes with 5 minutes of Question & Answer each are reserved for parallel oral sessions. The detailed schedule is available on the website.
  • The presentation slides should be written in English.
  • On the first day of the conference, please register at the Registration Desk. At the same time, please confirm with the technical committee to check whether your presentation slide has been received and it is satisfactory.
  • Please be alert that any changes on the presentation slide after the registration counter closes are not allowed.
  • Each room is equipped with a laptop, projector and screen. A microphone for the speaker, a second microphone and a pointer are also available.
  • Oral presenters can decide whether to use the pointer to change slides.
      Formatting

      Title of the Poster

      • The title of the presentation slide should be the same as the submitted abstract. Slight modification, which does not change the idea of the abstract, is allowed.

      • The presentation slide template 1 and 2 are provided at the bottom of the page.
      • It is recommended that the presentation slides should be at most 20 slides.

      Content of the presentation slide

      •  The presentation slide should contain the following:
        • Title
        • Authors and affiliation(s)
        • Background 
        • Methodology
        • Results
        • Conclusion
        • Acknowledgement, if any
      • Try to keep the text clear and concise.
      • It is recommended to use characters, animations or illustrations such as tables, figures, charts and images to help convey the research work clearly to the audience.

      Submission of the presentation slide

      • Oral presenters are compulsory to submit their presentation slides in advance via Google form by 6th October 2024. In the Google form provided, please tell us your choice of publishing a full paper with us.
      • Maximum file size of the presentation slide is 100MB.
      • Submit the presentation slide by indicating the file as Paper ID.pptx (upon abstract acceptance, the participants will be given a Paper ID). 
      • If you have the latest version of the presentation slide after this submission, please approach the technical committee to replace the old version of the presentation slide.

      On the day of your presentation

      • Oral presenters must be present at least 1 hour in advance in the assigned session room before their presentation.
      • All presentations will be uploaded at the latest one hour before the first speaker begins.
      • Please note that you will not be able to play your presentation directly from your laptop.
      • Technical assistance will be available in each room.
      • Session chairs will introduce each presenter.
      • Timekeeper will advise you when you have 3 and 1 minute remaining with a bell ring.
      • Please be respectful of your fellow presenters and their allocated time by staying within the time allowed and complying with the session chairs if they ask you to wrap up.
